Perfect weather will center itself around eastern Tennessee and Kentucky Monday, with a perfect 10 for Cumberland Gap National Historic Park. A few towns in the area which achieve perfect are: Gatlinburg, Hartford, Erwin, Cagle, and Elk Valley in Tennesse…and London, Corbin, and Harlan in Kentucky. Another area of perfect 10’s in coastal North Carolina and Southeast Virginia. Here we have: Sand Bridge Beach and Back Bay in Virginia…and Sligo, Riddle, and Jacocks in North Carolina. In South Carolina: Myrtle Beach, Garden City, and Wampee.
Absolutely nothing good happening out West as a big low drops into the region. Only the Desert Southwest will see anything about PWI 6 tomorrow.
Best 1. South Carolina 2. Virginia 3. North Carolina 4. Delaware 5. Georgia
Worst 1. Oregon 2. Washington 3. Idaho 4. Montana 5. Wyoming

Another excellent day expected from Virgina south to Georgia. The best will be South Carolina where perfect 10’s are expected in Lancaster, Blackstock, and Abbeville. A small area of 10’s in Virginia including Sutherland and Pertersburg…and also in Fort Payne, Georgia.
The Upper Midwest will be the real drag on the PWI tomorrow with high winds (to 60 mph) and a cold rain. States like North Dakota and Minnesota help keep the national mean down to 6.6 on Wednesday.
Out West, vast improvement in the Pacific Northwest tomorrow with 6’s and 7’s much more common. The best weather will be in Arizona again, especially around the Mogollon Rim near Show Low and also on the border with Utah in Page. California does pretty well tomorrow with quite few 10’s in the Sierra’s and also scattered near the coast. Ocean Beach near San Francisco, Seaside, the Yosemite Valley, and Blue Canyon with all achieve a 10.
Best: 1. South Carolina 2. Georgia 3. Virginia 4. North Carolina 5. West Virginia
Worst: 1. North Dakota 2. Alaska 3. Minnesota 4. Montana 5. Wyoming

Another nice day expected in the South Tuesday with South Carolina narrowly edging out Georgia for the top spot. Some big locations with 10’s including: Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia. A few other 10’s include Russellville, Kentucky, Cherokee, Alabama, and Tellico Plains, Tennessee.
Out West, the Pacific Northwest is dragging down the entire nation’s national mean (7.1) with very little above PWI 5. In fact, Idaho beats Alaska for worst in the nation. Still, some great weather but all in the Southwest. Show Low, Arizona…Berkeley, California…and Giant Forest in Sequoia National Park.
Best: 1. South Carolina 2. Georgia 3. Alabama 4. Tennessee 5. Mississippi
Worst: 1. Idaho 2. Alaska 3. Montana 4. Washington 5. Oregon
